Tecumseh OPP Looking for the Public's Assistance in Identifying a Robbery Suspect

On November 17, 2019 at approximately 6:35 p.m. Tecumseh OPP were dispatched to a robbery in progress at the Green Valley Plaza.

A male suspect entered the back door of a Subway Restaurant and forced 2 employees into the refrigerator. He then had another employee empty the cash register. The suspect fled the scene by leaving thru the back door. He travelled northbound onto Primrose Street and westbound on St. Gregory’s Street.

The male is described as a white male, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” in height. He was wearing Under Armour running shoes (black and white in colour), dark coloured jeans and a blue hoodie style coat. The male appeared to be in his early to mid 20’s. The suspect was carrying a lug wrench (black in colour).

The Tecumseh OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the above suspect. Below you will find a link to the CTV story/video of the robbery, together with a photo of the suspect.
