ROBBERY IN KINGSVILLE

On Wednesday, April 12th, at approximately 1 AM, members of the Kingsville OPP Detachment, were dispatched to a business located in the 1500 Block of County Road 20, for report of a robbery.

At that time, a white male wearing a grey and white plaid hoodie, entered the store and demanded money while brandishing a weapon. The suspect then fled the scene, eastbound on County Road 20.

ARSON SUSPECT SOUGHT

The LaSalle Police Service is continuing an investigation into the circumstances surrounding a residential fire at 1077 Reaume Road that occurred in the early morning hours of January 29th.

During the investigation, video surveillance footage was later obtained and upon review, investigators observed a person wearing what appears to be a light-coloured jacket exiting a minivan near the residence and entering the property shortly before the fire was reported. The LaSalle Police Service Criminal Investigation Unit believes the fire was intentionally set, and is now being investigated as arson. See attached photo of vehicle.

Police are working to gather further evidence and are asking the public to come forward with any information or video surveillance that may be of assistance in this investigation including identifying the person responsible for setting the fire or for assisting in establishing a potential motive for the arson.

SUSPECTS WANTED IN EAST-END ROBBERY

On March 13, 2023, at approximately 11 p.m., officers were called to a department store in the 7100 block of Tecumseh Road East following a report of a robbery with an offensive weapon. 

Through investigation and surveillance video, officers learned two suspects entered the store, and while one of them stole a Cricut Maker 3 valued at $400, the other sprayed a noxious substance into another part of the store to cause a distraction. The second suspect subsequently sprayed the store’s security guard with the substance before they fled the scene. 

The suspects were last seen in a newer model silver Ford F-150 with grey rims.

The first suspect is a white male with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he wore a green hat, black facemask, green hooded sweater, black jacket, pants, and shoes.

The second suspect is also a white male with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he wore a black toque, black baseball hat (with a sticker on the rim), black hooded sweater, grey jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.

Reward doubled in cold case murders of Williamson and Rucker

On February 27, 2003, Williamson and her four-year-old son Xavier were found dead inside their house on Tilston Drive in the city’s west end. Williamson was found beaten to death in the home’s basement, while Xavier’s body was discovered in the bathroom on the main floor.

The Windsor Police Service and Windsor Police Services Board have doubled the reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or people responsible for the murders of Debilleanne (Dee Dee) Williamson and Brandon (Xavier) Rucker.

Today, on the 20th anniversary of these horrific homicides, we have increased the reward from $20,000 to $40,000 for information that will enable us to bring the killer or killers to justice.

SUSPECT WANTED IN CONNECTION TO STABBING

On February 9th, just before noon, Windsor Police Service responded to an assault call in the 700 block of Brant Street. Through investigation, they determined that a 51-year-old male victim had been stabbed in a targeted incident. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Investigators have since identified the suspect as David Nelson.

Nelson is a white male, approximately 5’7” and 180lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. 

Police ask anyone who lives in the immediate area of the incident to check their security cameras or dashcams for evidence related to the case.

SUSPECTS WANTED FOR ARMED ROBBERIES

The Windsor Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit is seeking the public’s assistance to identify two suspects responsible for recent armed robberies. 

On December 25, 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a male suspect (see photo #1) robbed a gas station in the 2300 block of Walker Road (22-119937). The following evening, at approximately 9 p.m., a second male suspect (see photo #2) robbed a convenience store in the 2900 block of Tecumseh Road East (22-120151).

In both incidents, the suspects brandished a weapon but no one was physically injured.

The suspects are both white males, approximately 6’ tall. At the time of the robberies, they wore a black or blue jacket, a grey hooded sweater, black pants, a blue toque, a surgical face mask, and grey gloves.

MALIQUE CALLOO WANTED FOR FIRST-DEGREE MURDER

On Monday, November 28th at approximately 5pm, victim, Daniel Squalls was shot and killed on Hanna Street near Marentette Avenue, in the city of Windsor.

 

Windsor police have released photographs of a suspect wanted in connection with the recent homicide.

 26-year-old Malique Calloo is wanted for the first-degree murder.

He is considered “armed and dangerous” and should not be approached.

ROBBERY AT A DOWNTOWN WINDSOR BANK

The Windsor Police Service is seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a robbery at a bank in the 100 block of Ouellette Avenue, on November 2nd, at approximately 5:30 PM.

The suspect is described as a white female, 40 to 50 years old, approximately 5’3”, with a medium build and medium-length red or brown hair. She was last seen wearing black Adidas shoes, a jacket with white stripes, black pants, and black sunglasses. She was also carrying a black satchel.
