OPP INVESTIGATING THEFT OF TRAILER IN THE TOWN OF ESSEX

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking the public for assistance in identifying a suspect and vehicle involved in a recent theft in Essex. 

On March 31, 2020, between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., surveillance footage captured a suspect removing a trailer from a commercial property in the 300 block of Talbot Street North. 

The trailer is described as black, 5 feet by 10 feet with a ramp style gate and aftermarket diamond plate installed on the sides.

The suspect vehicle appears to be an older model Ford Fusion or similar.
