Lakeshore OPP Looking For Assistance in Identifying a Suspect

Lakeshore OPP are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a gas drive off and stolen vehicle complaint.

On November 13th at approximately 6:00 a.m., police were dispatched to a gas station located in the 7000 block of Industrial Drive, Comber in the Town of Lakeshore. A male had pumped a large quantity of gas and left without paying. This male was also driving a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a 2008 red Dodge Ram 4 door pick-up. It has a sticker on the front top windshield which is a Ram, and it has a sticker on the rear window which says “Cummings”. It has a very distinctive large exhaust on the left side of the vehicle. It has an aluminum toolbox in the back with the words “Delta” on it. There is also damage to the right rear bumper.

The male suspect is described as being between 25-35 years old. He has facial hair, with a medium build and height. He was wearing a grey jacket with a green neon vest. He was also wearing a grey hoodie.

A male suspect attended the LCBO on Amy Croft Drive in the Town of Lakeshore on October 23rd, 2019. This male stole alcohol from this location and fled the scene.

Male Suspect Commits a Break and Enter and then Sexually Assaults Sleeping Occupant

The Windsor Police Service Major Crime Branch is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a male suspect in a break and enter and sexual assault investigation.

On Thursday October 24, 2019 at approximately 5:00 am, a male suspect entered a residence in the area of Windermere Road and Cataraqui Street while the occupants of the home were asleep.

Through investigation, it is believed the suspect exited and re-entered the residence on several occasion taking items from the residence. On one occasion, he entered an adult female's bedroom and sexually assaulted her by way of inappropriate touching. The female victim awoke and the suspect fled the residence on foot.

It is believed the same suspect also committed a break and enter in the 1100 block of Chilver Road at approximately

6:30am the same day. The suspect fled the residence on foot after being confronted by an adult female resident.

The suspect is described as a male black, mid 20's, dark hair and beard, wearing a zip-up light gray hooded sweater with camouflaged print on the sides, and white running shoes.

Jerome Allen Homicide: One Year Anniversary of His Disappearance

It has been one year since Jerome Allen has been reported missing. The Major Crime Branch is continuing to investigate this case as a homicide.

The Windsor Police Service is appealing to the public for any information regarding the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and death.

A $5,000 reward remains in effect for any information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the parties responsible for the murder of Jerome Allen.

The family of Jerome Allen deserves to know what happened to him. Somebody knows something!

INFORMATION:

  • Jerome Allen (born March 14, 1989), Height: 6'4", Weight: 179 lbs., described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes.

  • Living in the Windsor area at the time of his disappearance

  • Has ties to the Windsor area and Greater Toronto areas

  • He was last seen in the early morning hours of October 20, 2018 in the west-side of Windsor

  • A search warrant was executed at a residence located in the 3400 block of Cross Street in relation to the investigation

  • His body has not been recovered

OPP Make 2nd Appeal to Witnesses/Involved Suspects

A Leamington man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after confronting a group of 4-6 trespassers operating All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) on his farm property.

 The incident occurred on Saturday September 21, 2019, at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Mersea Road 5 in Leamington.

One of the ATV’s, described as an ATV “Outlander” struck the victim during a confrontation between the victim and the riders. There was also a “mini-bike” style vehicle within the group of ATV riders. The operators were described as male between the ages of 25 and 40 years of age with none wearing helmets.

 Shortly after this incident, these ATV’s left the area and it is believed that one of them was involved in a collision with a motor vehicle in the 400 block of Road 5.

 The OPP is asking the involved ATV operators or any witnesses to the altercation or the aforementioned collision that can help to identify those involved to come forward to speak with police.

One Suspect Arrested in Homicide Investigation - Police Require Further Information on Additional Suspects

The Major Crimes Branch has been actively investigating the homicide case that occurred on October 19, 2019 at approximately 3:30 p.m. at Tecumseh Road West and McKay Avenue.

Through investigation it was determined that two suspects were involved in the physical attack.

Following the attack both suspects fled the area on foot and were believed to have entered a waiting vehicle. The vehicle then fled the area.

On Sunday, October 20, 2019, at approximately 2:30 pm, patrol officers located the suspect vehicle travelling in the area of Wyandotte Street East and Marentette Avenue. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested. The vehicle was subsequently seized as it is believed to be the same vehicle used during the attack.

Mustafa Al-Qaysi, a 19 year old male from Windsor, is charged with first degree murder.

Suspect #1 in the photo (lower-left) is described as:

  • Male

  • Slim build

  • Wearing a grey hooded sweater with a black Roots logo of a beaver on the front of the sweater, grey jogging pants and white running shoes

 Suspect #2 in the photo (upper-right) is described as:

  Male

  • Slim build

  • Wearing a grey hooded sweater, black pants, black flip-flops with white on top and black socks

Investigators are looking to identify the above two suspects who were wearing distinctive clothing.

 This investigation remains active.  Investigators believe the incident was not random. The two pictured suspects  are believed to have committed the physical attack.  Investigators are working to determine how many suspects were in the involved vehicle.

OPP In Need of Witnesses to Assault

On September 21, 2019 at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault complaint in the 300 block of Mersea Road 5.

Police were advised that several All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) were being driven in a farm field, potentially destroying the crops. The complainant, prior to contacting police had approached the ATV operators and asked them to leave but was unsuccessful. 

During this exchange, a person was assaulted requiring hospitalization and a motor vehicle was damaged prior to the group of suspects fleeing the area.   

Shortly after, one of the involved ATV’s may also have been involved in a collision with another motor vehicle in the 400 block of Mersea Rd 5.   

The OPP is asking that anyone with information regarding this incident, or anyone who can help identify the involved suspects, contact them at 519-326-2544.
