Convenience Store Robbery Investigated

The Windsor Police Service Major Crime Branch is actively investigating a convenience store robbery.

On Thursday May 21, 2020 at approximately 3:20 AM patrol officers responded to a convenience store located in the 300 block of Mill Street for a report of a robbery just occurred.

Investigation revealed that a suspect entered the store while brandishing a knife.

An employee in the store distanced them self from the suspect.

It is believed the suspect proceeded to steal a quantity of items from the store and then fled the scene on foot.

The suspect (pictured below) is described as:

  • Male white - approximately 35-40 years

  • Tall build

  • Wearing a unique (mostly green) single piece suit and a black mask covering the below portion of his face

  • There were no injuries reported during this incident.

    The knife has not been recovered.
