Windsor Police Seek Robbery Suspect

The Windsor Police Service Major Crime Branch is investigating a robbery and seeking the identity of the wanted suspect.

On Thursday May 21, 2020 at approximately 11:00 AM the suspect attended a business located in the 2400 block of Dougall Avenue. The suspect elected some merchandise from the business, concealed the product, and then attempted to exit the store without paying for the items.

When approached by an employee, the suspect brandished what was believed to be a knife and threaten to harm the employee if he was to approach.

The suspect then left the scene on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect (pictured below) is described as:

  • Male white

  • Approximately 40 years of age

  • Medium build

  • Wearing a dark grey top, baseball hat, sunglasses and dark baggy pants

Investigators are requesting the public review the surveillance photograph of the suspect as officers are seeking his identity.
